ABOUT JOE ABRAHAM

Hey all... I'm the youngest of 3 brothers from a small town in Pennsylvania (aka: Pennsyl-tucky).  My father built residential homes and my mother was able to stay home with all three boys and keep us from burning the house down... although all of us being Varsity wrestlers there were a few times dad's skill in home repair came in handy.  I grew up an athelete but slowly discovered and gravitated towards my musical and artistic side.  First I picke up a saxophone in 4th grade, then started in on the school plays/musicals.  As time went on I kept picking up music and performance activitiesa and slowly dropping the football, then baseball, and eventually in my later high school years, my beloved sport and family tradition of wrestling got put on the shelf.  I knew what I wanted to do and started to zero in.  After attending PSU and graduating with BFA Musical Theatre degree I was crazy enough to chase my dreams all the way to New York City and make them a reality.  I am best known for my work on Broadway in THE LITTLE MERMAID, the tour and Broadway companies of HAIRSPRAY, and most recently SHREK THE MUSICAL.  I now call Los Angeles, CA home and I am living another life long-dream branching into a huge career in Television and Film.  I am incredibly blessed with having a life and a career that blow my mind on a daily basis.
